Well I ripped apart my block yesterday and found broken ringlands on my number 1 cyl. and one of my main bearing really wore. so I replaced the piston and bearing and its running great. No blowby. which means Ill be bringing it to the dyno within the next couple days. Ill post numbers and my pics asap. Thanks for all the responses and the help.

yeah, when I said rings they were actually my ringlands broken in chunks. Luckily I had a spare ls motor lying around and i used that piston along with new set of rings i bought from honda. The hone job was a quiky, didn't take much too get the cross-hatches, you don't wanna over do it either. put the head, piston, bearings back on and the car started it first try and back too factory spec compression.

daubleaaron, aren't you glad i gave you one of my pistons just incase that ringland was jacked?

I'm glad to hear that your motor is going well now you need to come back over to wisconsin and let me test drive that bitch and we can run it with the g-tech pro and see what kind of quarter mile times it puts down.

You need to tune that baby up so she idle's a bit better while it's on the dyno.

hey man, just cause you fixed problem number two doesn't mean problem number one has been corrected.

Make sure your pcv system is in check, breather on the valve cover and the other end needs to be BEFORE THE TURBO, just examine a dsm factory turbo car and see how it's hooked up.

Word.

hopefully my car and all the other ---- will be together so atleast I can drive it.

I had to do some urgent belt replacements on a 95 corsica which was a pain in the *** today. so im going to prolly primer it tomorrow and that'll be cool.... lol

btw, i forgot but how much were you lookin to spend on a zc?

you might just wanna switch that y8 head for a z6 swap on your new block...

there are a ton of z6s that have high hp numbers...

Or if you wanted...after you get that a6 block built...you could bring that over here to wisconsin and we could go rape the ---- out of the y8 and run mad amounts of boost and see how fast we can get it...
