Stickwelding thin wall - hrmph.

Anyway, I promise you if you were to cap an end and put some pressure in the tube it'd leak. You've got pinholes everywhere. I am not criticizing you, just telling you that it'd be better to grind it downa nd run a proper MIG bead now rather than later. I've welded a few times

I had to use a gasless MIG (Flux core) wire feeder once and I layed a smoother pile of booger welds than what ya have picture, and that damned thing leaked so bad - I know it seems like you've "saturated it with metal" but its really just cracked and pin holed. Good luck with it though.

there was more than one layer of weld put on. i dont think it will leak. I have looked pretty close at the welds and the inside of the piping. its fine

Do a test with air....cap one side close and put some air using a compressor or something. Some holes are small enough you won't see them, but they are there. Maybe even try water, see if it leaks out a little. It's better to check now than having to get it all out after it is done....

and where's the pics....post them up.

Yeah another trick is to cap one end of the pipe and pressurize it and spray it with soap water over the welds. Pin holes aren't something you can really see. It's a pain in the ***.

water test would be good.

I swore that this one weld i did was sealed, and the water test proved me wrong. grind everything smooth, then go over it again.

looking good man but definetaly do a leak test before you get it all setup, i used a stick welder on a couple of my pipes and ended up having massive leaks and using a coupler over the welds as a bandaid
