what a big pain in the *** this is. if i just got a set of napa bearings i'd have to plastigauge and check the clearances wouldn't i.

 

You'd have to do that with the stock bearings anyways... The stock ones are just going to get you closer to the correct specs. ACL's and Napa bearings I beleive are just the Green bearing which is about the middle size.

 

napa told me it was gonna be 137 dollars for the main/rod/thrust bearings!! does that sound right? i read in your lsvtec twin turbo post that they were only 22 for a LS??

I'm looking for a set of main & rod bearings for a 96 Honda Del Sol (Dohc vtec).
