I have seen prices for turbo kits on bmws and they are always more expensive than kits for japanese imports. Then again this might be because the manufacturer figures, they spent more money on the car, so they'll spend more money for the turbo. I think turboing one of those has got to be more complex (fuel wise) than a honda. I know they use maf sensors instead of map sensors.

haha... actually, it's easier then turboing a honda (in a way)... Most people just use a fmu and slightly larger injectors and call it a day... the thing about bimmers (e30 and e36) is that they use motronic ecu, which adapts to the bigger injectors, so that makes it that much easier... the only gay thing is that they use air flow meters (not maf or map) so you have to find a way around that... can't just use a check valve like a honda... sorry i don't have more time, but if you have a question let me know... i'm currently working on a turbo for an e30 325i using a turbo from the 92 toyota supra... also, look at dtmpower.net, lots of good info...
