You are a n00b, but VERY well informed with no stupid posts/threads, yet. Hmm, I'm going to look into the F22s just because I'm curious now. LOL. What is the normal threshold of a F22? And are different gen F22s any better or worse between the years? Thanks!!! I LOVE the D-Series, but F22 is almost UNHEARD of anymore. Yo man:

If you like i could send you a ---- load of pics from home tonight... my email is briankspiker@hotmail.com.... send me your email addy, Id like to help anyone I can.... I did LOTS of research on HT before i opened my mouth... Learned a bunch,no flaming!!!! (LOL), but it seems like this site has a lot to offer.... plan to build a new Block and ---- for the summer. I would not go TOO much over 300 WHP with stock internals on the f series. The sleeves are Iron so you are cool there its the rods and pistons. However Im shooting for around 280-300 WHP with some upgrades im doing this weekend (studs, Head gasket, 3bar, new DP design...). I am confident that I will have more Tq than whp once again as well. The goal for the built block this summer is 400 HP, but i need to go up in injectors (DSM 450) as they are gonna be pretty close to maxed at around 300 HP

Ive got a buddy whos getting 335 HP on his kit on a f22b1 as well...

As for the cluster... It actually looks SEXY as HELL in person, You can see more in the additional pics i have that i can send ya later!! Everything from FMIC instal to pipe routing to mani install oil pan return, etc. Oh ya, I was even able to keep the front motor mount with some grindin and coaxin!!! Got pix of that too.

danronian

TRY and keep your front mount, or do something to help minimize the tourqe/ movement of the block... I broke my first cut down mount (the steel bracket that goes on the block) in half when i put in a mount insert...went back and re designed it now all is good, but it is amazing the difference in how solid the car feels with the mount verses without.

If I were you Id look for a P-72 (IMO) Thats what Im running on Crome pro. Love it- that or a chipped p 28 would be my suggestions- Good luck!!!
B-

Let me know if there is anything I can help ya out with.

Well, thanks for the compliments and suggestions. I know the B1 will take 12PSI on a good tune. I'm not looking for it to last 5 years or anything like that. I'd keep it detuned between 8-10 for the street but the boost controller will be mounted in close proximity for those "spirited driving" moments.

bigdaddyvtec - I'd be curious to chat with you a little more on your setup since it is very similar to what I have plans for. Hit me up on MSN next time you log on.

danronian - Scope out some P06's or P72's and modify them to run either Uberdata or Crome (same modifications). The P28's are no good cause you gotta modify them even more to remove VTEC and they are a little more expensive now a days. Check http://WWW.PGMFI.ORG for more information on the ECU's and modifying them. I can get some decent deals on ECU's and can do all of the modifications and get you a base tune if you need it. Hit me up on MSN or on here whenever you figure out what you want to do.

"Dude...no prob.... Im makin 260 HP 270 tq on a t3/04e 57 trim stage 3 garret at 10 psi. BONE STOCK f22b1. Custom built kit by me, Mikedope, and mani from Mike at LSD motorsports.Tuned on Crome Pro.

Ran 13.89 (with a 2.3 60 ') @ 102 MPH in my fullyloaded 94 accord ex...AC, PS, CC, subs, spare and my big 250 pound *** in the fuckr too"

SWEET!!! I just remember reading a honda tuning article and they said the F22's were only good for 200hp or so. So i figured 275 would be detrimental. I planed on running like 6 or 7 psi in mine, but you kinda opened my eyes a lil bit for more HP. Howd she run in normal driving conditions?

Other than a hole (stutter) at 4k (from like 3800-4200) its great. I have vtec openning around there, and if i pop it into boost its good times...if i try to cruise (in Vac) right at 4k it bucks a bit. Just needs some street tuning. Other than that, Part throttle is great, with good power, even out of boost.

As I mentioned, I am upgrading some stuff this week, and going for a re tune. im sure ill get at LEAST 275-280 WHP, prob around 283 TQ. Going for right around three...thats the goal. Im going to try and lower vtec a bit more and see what happens. Ill try and post my dyno sheet after i re tune. The ****** pulls HARD as a train. The tq curve shoots straight up at 36-3700 and stays pretty flat til like 5500 max HP is at 6000. Full boost by 3500...

Fun times man. Cant wait to tune her at 13-14 psi!!!!! Im not planning on going over 300 WHP till the next block/rods and pistons though...

This is great! The F22's aren't the big pieces of ---- that a lot of shops/magazines claim it to be. I was gonna do what I could to prove them wrong, but looks like Brian's already doing that! Nice work man! I loved the pictures you sent too......got me thinking

I have a t3 turbo with and internal wastegate and BOV on it, i also have a spaerco intercooler. my main problem is what to do with the ECU ive heard of a few options but i dont know what the best optoion is if anyone knows let me kno what they think thanks guys its good to see some ppl finally representin accords. i love my car and cant wait for some boost.
have you looked at the f22b2 ports? its 0--0-0--0. not evenly spaced like the f22a, JDM f22b dohc, or H series.
unfortunately accords from 1994-2002 (f22bx - f23x) have this oddball exhaust port setup.

if you ditch the front mount, i would recommend solidfying the rear and side mounts with some liquid urethane.

bigdaddyvtec could you post some pic of your 'modified' front mount?
(upload pics to photobucket.com and post the IMG tags.)

bigdaddyvtec: I am interested in your setup as well. I will be boosting my 96 Accord and I will be keeping all of my accessories also. I am really interested in pics of the hotside of your intercooler piping. How you ran it pass the A/C hose, P/S reservoir, and window washer tank?
