Default exhaust wheel touching housing.

i got a td05, but the exhaust wheel is JUST touching the housing.. enough to hear is scraping when turning it.. can i just leave it and let it wear down or what.

the turbs in is good nick.. no play etc. just the exhaust housin is cracked abit so has obviosuly moved. quite hard to find 14b td05 housings in good nick

if it's cracked like you said, i'm guessing the crack is bulging out and hitting the wheel. right?? if so, if you REALLY want to use that turbo, just pull the exhaust housing off and take a die grinder to the bulged area a little bit

I wouldn't run it. I bought a turbo, Seemed like it was fine. Could hear scrapping, but not see it, pulled the housing off and it looked like half the wheel profile was gone!
