:1 I didn't see the evo 3 part. Yes the older ones will bolt up, but the new one will not.

First off, you have the numbering wrong...it's MHI Tdo5H 16g. The Evo3 variants use a 7cm^2 housing and will start to come on boost around 2800-3k rpm's. How do I know? I had one on my b16. It's a great turbo for daily driven status, but you'll need some high pressure numbers to start knocking on that 300whp door.

Uhh, wrong Evo turbo. You're thinking of the MHI Tdo5HR 16g6 (which is basically a small 20g, and the compressor housing is huge in comparison to the Evo3 variants) which is the twin scroll reverse rotation housing. IIRC this turbo didn't make an appearance until the Evo 7's and used a 9.8cm^2 housing. This turbo is also found on '03 and '04 Evo 8's. '05 and up jumped to a 10.5cm^2 housing, and the last release models of the '06 Evo 9 MR had a 20g with the 10.5cm^2 housing.
