Forgive me for the dumb questions...
Basically, you add more and more oil until you get the 6-8 psi while idling, right? Would letting the car run for a few minutes and letting the oil get through everything, checking oil pressure, and then adding if neccessary be the right way to do this? Kinda like a trial and error thing, until you got enough?

Honduh oil pressure switch it ~ 5 psi. Your engine should idle more like 15 psi.

T0DA, get your *** to Asheville Hose on Swannanoa River Rd and buy all your specialty ---- there for cheaper than McMaster. Better yet, check PMs, I have part of Tues and all of Thurs off every week and live a mile from there. Call me when you are ready and I'll show you the bottom dollar route that compromises no quality, and you get braided steel bling bling too.

I'll call you when the time is right. I might go ahead and start shopping now, IDK. But I'll give you a ring first

This helped me out a lot.

and the valve to reduce oil pressure do you just cut the line and stick a valve with smaller diameter for oil to flow pretty much or what??
