Basically, you add more and more oil until you get the 6-8 psi while idling, right? Would letting the car run for a few minutes and letting the oil get through everything, checking oil pressure, and then adding if neccessary be the right way to do this? Kinda like a trial and error thing, until you got enough?

Honduh oil pressure switch it ~ 5 psi. Your engine should idle more like 15 psi.
