I have a B7 in my '89 DX, converted to OBD1 and everything. Due to lack of options (weight) and sunroof (weight) that comes in the Si trim options, I'm as fast as a healthy 88-89 Si.. the 90-91 have another 200 lbs of fat and in-door automatic seatbelts (weight) and are a little slower.
I've had a guy owning a '99 Si ask me what I did to my car
Hrm, your 30-40 extra to the wheels is offset by the extra 750 lbs of fat your car carries around, plus the 100 lbs the guy had on me, and his speaker box.
