Personally, if I had a brand new car (been thinking of buying an echo hatch for commuting), I wouldn't skimp on too much junkyard stuff, I'd probably go with a log mani, with a small external gate with a 4 psi spring and a new Garrett T25. For engine management, an EIC (www.sdsefi.com). If you used an aquamist instead of an IC you could probably leave your timing as is. This is a setup I've been thinking about for a while. An S-AFC would work too, with a little bigger injectors, but I like the EIC more for a low boost setup since you don't have to butch the wiring harness, which would void your warranty. Good luck Neil I'm not sure about this EIC... sounds like it's more or less for those who know a little bit more about what they're doing. I'm not too worried about my warranty either, I'm pretty putting a turbo on the car is gunna void it anyways. :-\ What am I looking at on a setup like this; psi wise? and $$ wise? |
