Use a variable jabsco pump.Like one for a boat. Thats what I'm using in my setup. Because not only does the fluid/coolant have to be correct, but it also has to remain in the cooler long enough to cool the air charge. Just as in the case of your radiator. Take out your t-stat and see it work.

So this way you can control the volume your pumping to the cooler.
