I was hoping that the GT40P heads would work well. They are supposed to flow as well as standard GT40 heads but do so with SMALLER valves. This implies that the exhaust velocity should be nice and high which should work well with turbos. I hope I don't blow headgaskets. I am running the graphite ford ones. If they blow, I will switch to those cometic MLS ones.
The drive up to Kauffmans for the dyno run took like an hour or so. This car drives like a stocker until you get on it. Zero drivability problems.
One funny thing tho: It is such a sleeper and so quiet that it confused some people there. We came out of the dyno room and someone asked the tuner why they hadn't run the car. He said "we just did two runs". The car is quieter than stock. The other thing was they put this huge fan on the car then all put on ear protection. I told them that their fan was louder than the car. And it was.

hehe yah. mines quiet cruising, but w/ open downpipes its really loud WOT.

word of caution about the MLS gaskets, with those bad boys you made the pistons the weak spot rather than the headgaskets ;)

i cant wait till i get me a new maf and some big injectors. mine drive around really nice and stockish and decent with 5.5psi i guess :)

I did not even get my parts let alone install them.
Yeah, much better to blow a headgasket than break a piston. Hopefully I won't do either.
It is nice and loud with open down pipes. You can hear the turbos all the time-like a real badass racecar.

any plans to move onto better fuel managment? So far it looks like a kickass setup though :)

Plan is in progress: 36# injectors, pro M MAF calibrated for 36# injectors (both ordered) and an additional fuel pump (waiting to be installed). Then, back to the dyno.
