But it's not a bolt on at that point right? It would be amazing if it was but a 2G DSM T25 / 28 style turbo have a totally different turbine housing and compressor cover than anything from an SR right

Correct me if I am wrong, I simply meant it's a cake swap and no changes if you stay with the DSM framed turbo.

Mitsubishi - 2G DSM "Style" Turbo

Nissan - SR20 "Style" Turbo

That is why I suggested the 14B, 16G, 20G turbo's as another possibility. You will see what I mean once you pick it up. The wastegate set-up is nothing like the Garrett it is Mitsubishi.

Ah ok guys, thanks for clearing that up for me, figured that being a T25/28 series would make it pretty simple to swap in, but damn that is a difference and a half.

I am pretty sure that the 14b, 16g are not directly interchangable with T25 though, as I have seen that you need a "conversion kit" of some sort to upgrade to a 16g on a 2g dsm, it's not a straight bolt on like a 1st gen car.. I've been looking at this since I've bought a 1990 talon tsi awd

It for the intake pieces and a couple of other small things. However the downpipe and what not bolt straight up. Look at the hot side on both of them and you will see what I mean.

Hehe damnit you guys are too smart for me, I was referring to this kit, but I thought you also needed a different manifold to bolt up the 16g..
