2 ways I can think of getting around this problem... One is to put a restrictor on the outlet and as already mentioned open the WG. Even so you will want to take it very easy. I've run turbos before with blown off charge pipes and never had a problem. I know someone who ran an entire 7km stage with a charge pipe broken from a rock. This was with a 38mm inlet restrictor (rally car) but the turbo did not suffer any dammage.

as mentioned earlier, remove WG first
then you'll need 2 filters.. one for your intake manifold since its not connected to your turbo anymore
and one for your turbo, so it doesn't get damaged cuz its probably sitll gona spool a bit

you will still damage it doing it that way. just leave the charge pipes hooked up and unhook the wg

how is he gonna hook up a charge pipe he doesn't have? thats why he's askin if its okay.
you will still damage it doing it that way. just leave the charge pipes hooked up and unhook the wg
