Re: DPFI turbo?'s
haha, but seriously that little b2 was ment for one thing and one thing only : a good little economical set of wheels. But there are some other motors that people shouldent boost but do, but why go thu the hassle when its not even worth it? what im trying to say is save up around 400 - 500 and get a decent motor that will be reliable and last...you will thank yourself later! oh and will have lots of potiental

Re: DPFI turbo?'s

Re: DPFI turbo?'s
heres a good link that has lots of info!
https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=28135.0 about the motor it has to do with personal prefrence's, funds availible, your goals for the motor...if your on a budget, personaly i would go with the z6 because there very comon and there cheap and so are the parts btw: i dont think you need any "brake boosters" ? ;) |
Re: DPFI turbo?'s
what do u think about a b18b? i can get 1 from a local junk yard cheap?...and break boosters just help out with vac probs sometimes you cant build enough vac for th breaks.

Re: DPFI turbo?'s
We're getting ready to do a D15 DPFI turbo just for the fun of it. We are planning on using a an additional injector setup, kind of like Jeff did on the Kia. We'll run 6Lbs or so, no real timing management, and just the additional injector to take care of fuel. DSM FMIC, StealthMode Oil Line kit, and that's about all. It should make that economical little car, a bit more fun to drive.
