Default DPFI turbo?'s

i have a dx with DPFI and wanted to do an unltra getto turbo build...i wanted to know how could i go about the fuel management...would an FMU work and what ratio would it have to be 12:1?

please do not use an fmu, your wasting your money...do everything right the first time, yah i also have a tendency to rush things and later regret it. Well ---- it blow this b2 to hell without managment becuase they should not be boosted there too weak. Then buy a decent motor for cheap, rewire your harness for MPFI, buy some dsm 450cc injectors, chip your new ecu with Turboedit or Uberdata and call it day

lol thats the whole point to build an ok turbo set up....rape on it till it blows then sell the kit to some idiot on ebay and buy a new motor and start all over again ...i have an MPFI swap but i need an Pm6 ECU and an a6 dizzy to complete it.....the b2 sucks n e way mine as well kill it and have fun doing it

yah, dont waste money on an FMU if your planning to blow this motor, it will probably go for a month TOPS then start on somthing worth messing with...dont forget to post pics of the carnage!!

well i want it to run ok for a few months until i have another motor lined up then when i get it its time to kill it....and OMG them rods are like toothpics lol

but your gona have to keep the psi like under 5 1/2- 6

its better than no boost at all...and btw its better than the factory 98HP lol

you say that now....after about 3 days your going to crave more boost i guarantee it but either way you look at it, you will have some fun... BTW they only have 92 hp

lol stupid motor....but hey i want to turbo this thing so it will last about 4 months....i want to build the cheapest kit that is kinda reliable....thats why i was thinking about a fmu....and i also wanted to keep the DPFI...i wanted to build the kit for under $500...what do you think?

im sure you have seen this before but "cheap and reliable" are never in the same sentence..... dude there is only 2 tiny 240cc injectors that are pretty much mounted on top of a crappy fancy carburator...sort of, anyway i would say a mpfi car would probably go 4 monts + on an fmu at low boost BUT you have dpfi so i would doubt it, you will just run too lean
