Re: Downpipe clearence need help
its pretty simple. jus dont use a huge ass looping u-bend kinda downpipe, jus make a dp that faces straight down kinda like

Re: Downpipe clearence need help
jus wrap it with heat wrap... or try to bend it a bit or smash it in a lil bit. wont hurt the flow that much. jus find exactly where its touching n smash it in a bit with a hammer... then wrap it with heat wrap a bit where it might touch.

Re: Downpipe clearence need help
alright that sounds good ill do a 1.5 straight down, smash it in, heat wrap it, then have the 1.5 welded into a 2.5, so it does look possible to put a dp without damaging the alternator

Re: Downpipe clearence need help
What about turning the turbo around? It looks like there might be plenty of clearance on the other side.

Sounds like your best bet right there. I'd stay away at all possible from "smashing it in" just use smaller piping so it's still smooth flowing. If you need heat wrap my Dad got me some from work. Fire blanket is what it is really. Alot of it. I can probably send you some if you pay shipping. JP JP |
