I am not saying that. The thing in my eyes that makes these manifolds hold up like they do is the thickness of the material. Schedule 10 is still very thick. That is up to you if you use that or not. All my stuff is schedule 40.

as far as tubing thickness, i'm using sch. 10 304L stainless (they're actually cheaper than the mild steel sch 40 pieces on mcmaster) and a couple of my engineer friends were over here just now commenting on it..

basically, when i said that most people used sch 40, they laughed their asses off. they couldn't understand why anyone would use tubing so thick and heavy when it isn't necessary...

Do you have some kind of evidence of what is neccesary? I'm not saying that schedule 10 won't work just fine. But I am not about to build one and hand it off to someone else to find out.
