i have a 2001 mitsu eclipse gt. i found a turbo set-up for my non-turbo car for 3600 dollars(---- that). i can buy a slightly used crotch rocket for cheaper than that. im just looking for a cheap way to get a turbo.i love the way they sound with the zzzzzsh and the pshtt.anyways ,i was wondering if i could get some help on customizing my own turbo since im short on cash. i was reading about those electric turbos but i figured i could do just as much damage with an electric leaf blower and a power inverter.i would be thankful if anyone could help me.

So you want a turbo for the sounds? Ok.

Electric "turbos" are junk. They do not produce anything. Erase that thought out of your mind before it does serious damage.

Now that we have that cleared up, start by reading the forums. Go to the FAQ and read up on EVERYTHING. There is a lot to know before you go slapping a turbo on your car. $3600 is a bit high. You could save a bit of money by doing it yourself and picking the parts you want.
