How do you crush it, with a hammer or just push down with something sharp since the spring is in the middle?

16 to maybe 19 later on a fully built z6 with a t3/t4. I heard they leak past 13 and was assuming thats what was causing a later spool on my old 63/60. i guess it was all the exhaust leaks from the ---- *** hf manifold

should i crush it or no?

 

its not gonna hurt anything to crush it, just dont go too far w/ it or you will have compressor surge especially on lower boost.

 

exactly what i was gonna say. i crushed it to much n had compressor surge at low boost. still leaked under boost at 22psi so i crushed it more then it never opened again HAHA

 

should i just buy a ching chong meow "greddy" one then...

 

ching chong meow greddy and even the real greddy can't handle more then 14psi
