please explain how the robotic welds are better than just a regular person doing a tig? I've hear good things about full race but always hear people complain about the prices

Re: cracked 14b

cant you just weld the flapper shut and use a external wastegate on something with small crack lines

Re: cracked 14b

The easiest solution is to just get a 7cm housing off a 16g. They don't crack. The 14b cracks because it's old and the 6cm housing has a manufacturing defect. A 7cm housing, while not easy (or cheap) to find by itself, will not crack for a long time, if ever. The 7cm housing off the EVO316G (has to be genuine) is legendary, It is cast with a ---- ton of nickel and is virtually uncrackable. I've never seen a cracked one. You could also just buy a blown 16g for like $80 and just use the hotside off it. Or yes, cut out the flapper, fill the hole like a ----------er including the cracks, and then run it external, but that seems like a whole lot of work for a 14b lol.

If someone has the means and the motivation then theres nothing to lose. Otherwise 14bs aren't worth more than $100 so theres no point in paying someone to weld it up. Mine was ported, was it fixed as in brand new? Hell nah, this is HMT, theres no point cause its a 14B.

Genuine Full Race robotic tig welds inside the turbo = hella boost. I read it on Honda-Tech so its a solid source.
