Agreed, looks like some solid fusing and no rod was used. I never see log mani's crack. Good customer service should be sending the guy a new mani and him sending his cracked peice back.

old smiley madness taking its toll. damn shitty. new manifolds are fully penetrated so i this wont be a issue any longer. jeff id send new manis but ichis was one off for his oddball setup and bretts kit was made as a whole. doubtful the new manis would work without redoing the dp ect.

well no down time is not possible. Get over that. :P

My suggestion would be to have C-C Fab cover the welding repair costs.

Dave covered the cost of having the flange on one of his manifolds machined down. Makes way more sense than sending ---- back and forth at $10 a time.

josh, dont worry about mine. ill be the 1st to admit, i didnt run a flex pipe in my downpipefor AT LEAST the first 6-7k miles my car was boosted, and im sure that didnt help (even though u were supposed to send me a flex pipe) its no big deal. i have access to a mig and a fluxcore, so i can fix it, it just takes me an hour to get it off and another hour and a half to get it back on. only reason i even meantioned it was because i saw the post and went to look at my own manifold out of curiosity.

rofl. Not your fault then man. If he was supposed to send you a flex pipe, then its his fault.

ok fair enough. its josh's fault. how is that going to solve this problem? i cant afford to not have my car for a week while the manifold is in transition. im going to be fixing it myself.

should josh fix it? sure. should he send me another manifold so there is no down time? maybe, though that would make everything else on my car not work.

its no big deal. i can fix it and it will be done. i dont need to make a huge deal out of it. its a little crack in a cheapass manifold, the flux madness will have no problem patching that ---- up.
