like he said, you'll be fine, as far as the afc, yes it does advance you're timing a bit, but you're c/r ratio isn't high enought really for that to affect you, if anyting just retard you're timing at the dizzy a lil bit, but you can read up on that in the 'engine management' section.

45 thou is only going to bump it up around 1/2 a point of c/r so your still under 10.0 and lots of people with stock b16's and gsrs boost all day long with compression in the 10's.

As josh said, in order for you to use the copper gasket you will need to oring the block, or cylinder head. Grooves are made around the sleeves for the steel ring to sit in, then the copper gasket get crushed, and this is what seals it.

Otherwise if you didnt the copper gasket would not seal up, and its usually about a 2-300 dollar job to do. The best way to do this is do both sides, the head and block (making a receiver grove) in the head.

Lots of work eh? ya thats why everyone suggest just running a stock Head gasket, they work just fine.

As far as the AFC, ya it works.. but with rom editors like turboedit and uberdata out there I would really be leaning towards that insted.
