Masterpower is for all intent and purposes a garrett turbo without the watercooling option. MP is licensed by garrett to use their designs as they want. Pretty good deal overall. I have yet to hear a single legit complaint.

They are assembled in Brazil with some occaisional QC issues. Every so often you hear of a run of compressors getting the faces of their inducers slightly marred because somebody put a pallet of heavy ---- on top of them when it came time to run out the door and fiesta.

That being said, Master Power stands behind them and you won't get ripped off. I'd buy a Master Power turbo.

sounds like its perfect. i've been doing alot of research, seems like people who are blowing seals aren't running restrictors, so yeah, their fault, not the turbo

i don't need the watercooled bearings anyways, this is going out back, way less heat to deal with...i may have a seperate oiling system for it too...instead of running lines all over the car, i could make a system that will sit in the spare tire well, with a little pump, sump & cooler

so i think i'll get a MP T70 with a .68 A/R
