Sweet!

I could have really used this back when I was selecting a turbo... I sat down with Maximum Boost one afternoon and cruched the numbers for my setup, took me forever to figure it out!

I'm going to save this one for future reference... if/when I upgrade to a larger turbo!

question though...now i plugged all my info into the ------sheet and i opened the compressor map for my t3 60 trim, now what?

i mean i layed out a straight horizontal line at 1.78 pressire ratio (the vertical edge on the map) and then marked along that line where my CMF number fell at each rpm. so i have a straight horizontal line with CMF points at each point for rpm.

is that correct did i explain that well enough. its hard to explain does anyone have a graph that is correctly plotted?

im using a z6 motor so 1595 displacement and 10 psi for input numbers
and im using the t3 "60 trim" map if someone wants to duplicate this.
thanks!
Once you have put in the numbers you do what you said and basically put a horizontal line on the graph where the pressure ratio is. Then you compare the CFM in the rpm range you are looking in and you can find the efficiency. So basically you can see where you will be at peak efficiency and thats where youll want to make peak power. So you dont want to be at 60% at 6500 rpm.

Ok so im using the t3 "60 trim" map (i have a .48/.60 60 trim) when i draw my horizontal line and map out the points from 5k-8k are in the 74% "bubble" so is that telling me that from 5k to 8k im in the peak effiency for that turbo?!!

its nice my horizontal line goes right through the fattest part of the "bubble" to i have worked a couple other maps including the super 60 and none of the other maps look as good as this one does!
