if you need higher pressure in a small package (like an in-tank version) you could use the fuel pump from one of the flex-fuel vehicles like ford ranger/taurus etc. i believe they're internally nickel plated to deal with E85, so they'd handle water just fine. any pump that can handle alcohol can handle water.

people scoffed at felix wankel because plenty of piston engines had already been produced and were working fine for automotive needs. he just wanted to do things differently. there's nothing wrong with that.

The wankel is kinda a bad exsample, maybe after another 65 years of research and development, it MIGHT get close to being as good as a piston engine...

The fuel consuption of the rotary speaks volumes for its effecicy ( or lack of )...

But we all knew what you meant...
