exactly. If you had an intercooler than ran at 100% efficiency than water injection would be worthless. But since none of use usually have this kind of intercooler water injection is a practical solution to a common problem.

why dont you just use your windshield washer sprayers. hook them up so that they can spray the intercooler and you have a tank already there. thats what the new wrx sti uses. alot easier then making something from scratch

mahcivic, I'm not spraying the intercooler, I don't have an intercooler.

corky bell's downfall is his quest for the perfect intercooler and saying anything that would be useful if the intercooler was not at top efficieny is trash.

So even if your using a regular old tyrus or custom coach with good tuning... what was the problem again??? ???

Sounds like another thing that you would ---- something up with. Not too little water of course, but too much. So many of our cars have run without water injection, so why would you need to?

fmic: $300

water injction kit: nozzle $6, pump $50, activator free (using chips from national.com), lines $5 (estimate) total: $61

Cost of completely being a cheap ass = your motor.

Sounds like bad accounting on your part. :D
