Well, with emphasis on proper tuning being hard to grasp, wouldn't you be throwing a whole new system to tune into the equation? pressure, nozzles, what?

why shouldn't I do it? I'm too stupid to figure it out. it seems like the view towards me lately is that I'm an ignorant ---- who would rather cut every corner possible than to spend a few extra dollars and do it right. For the most part I'd rather live with my ---- being ghetto than paying for something better, but I'm not so ghetto that I'd blow up my engine just so I don't have to spend the extra couple hunder on an intercooler. I've been studying turbo ---- for a long time, so I pretty much have it figured out as far as what I want on my car. adding water injection on top of everything else isn't that big of a deal, it's like carrying around a 50lb back pack and then just having one more notebook in there, I'm not really going to notice the added weight.

I don't think there's anything I can say that can make anyone on here change their mind, what works for you works for you, that's great, I'll just have to prove to you that what I'm doing is effective by succeeding, so I'll just do that now.

Also Stealth, your talking like water injection is this huge complicated thing to setup. My install and tuning took 45 minutes. Again, your arguing about something that you have absolutely no experience with.

do you really think some shop would have done a better job? some shop moron would have the same amount of experience doing it as I did, and he would have charged me probably $150 flatrate for that ----. the posts are in there, that's what counts, right?

I was planning to go water-injected on my 305 project.
I found a very old Vara-jection from Edelbrock new in the box. It came complete with 2 nozzles, tank, pump, module and some install ----. The only problem is that it can only be put in front of the turbo. If i put it after the turbo, it would probably guzzle up all the water without the pump running. This could cause hydro-lock.
Maybe i can use an old fuel-injector.

i never though of it but if you dont have a strong pump to pump the water at the time you want it to start you might blow the water back through the pump (under boost). IE why the washer pump isnt going to work. i like the pump kyle found tho. and its good and cheap.
