larger pipe directly effects your spool time. there is a larger area for the turbo to have to compress air into, so it will not reach full boost until a higher rpm compared to smaller pipes.

smaller pipes wont flow as well, but how much horsepower are you looking to make? the 4g63T engine puts out 190-195hp in its weakest turbo'd form, and its charge pipes are tiny.

I would suggest 2" or 2.25" piping.

Last time I checked they were cheaper. 2" You can get aluminum, steel, and stainless steel as well.
i've ordered from both, you get more pipe from jcwhitney, it's cheaper to get what you need from jcwhitney

I may give speedparts a try... They are, after all, an HMT sponser

The guy who runs speedpartsrus is a really nice guy. I emailed him with a couple questions about his intercoolers and next thing I knew he was offering a pretty good discount on what I was interested in. I'm not ready to buy my IC yet, but it's good to know.

once again, anthony and rene' are great, i've bought two intercoolers from them, some mandrel bends, and i've even sold anthony a car. all i'm saying is his mandrel bends aren't the best bang for the buck, but as soon as he gets his own mandrel bender, i'm sure he'll have the cheapest bends. the guy selling mandrels in the classifieds is the best deal, either him or jcwhitney, the end.
