Quick pipe sizing question
Again, i cant find this answer anywhere, I just need to know how big of piping to run in my bay area. I have a 3" all the way back pipe that is CATless, and the intercoolers i'm seeing have his spec.
Spouts: 2.5" O.D.
WIll this work being the size of the exhaust is bigger and will is fit to a t3/t04 .63? I may be still doing my thinking worng but i just want to make sure i have the right setup for airflow.
The exhaus i already have is the THERMAL R&D Turbo-Back exhaust system for a 92-00 civic 2 door.
"These systems are made of 3" mandrel bent stainless steel pipe and require some slight modifications to your high-flow catalytic converter. We include an extra 3" flange for an easy installation of the exhaust system. These systems are a true 3" and will not connect to a stock catalytic converter. "
I'm also getting a stright pipe to answer why it says CATless.

Re: Quick pipe sizing question
I feel stupid asking, but i'm assuming the t3 sould then bolt up to a 3" test pipe then?
And on this note, does anyone KNOW where i can get a 3" test pipe for a 96-00 civic coupe? Or am i missing something again that the turbo connects to prior to that?
Sorry to ask so much, but i've read ALOT and still have trouble understanding some things

Re: Quick pipe sizing question
Yeah that's what i needed to know, now there are turbo down pipes and turbo up pipes am I going to need both or just the downpipe?
I might still make one i just need to know what pipes go there.

Re: Quick pipe sizing question
what do i search for though? Up pipe, down pipe? i read all the guides and they mention down pipes but not up pipes, yet it looks like there are different bolt patters on each on so i figure it should matter.
I'll search again though

OR downpipes for that matter.
In fact it says nothing about exhausts at all.
The one that DOES have a downpipe mentioned is the G2IC turbo guide, but still says nothing about up pipes.
I'll just buy one.. Later
