Default Catch can question...

Does it really matter if you keep the PCV when you have your catch can setup. Seems to me like it really wouldn't matter anymore. I left mine in because it makes the piping easier. Any comments?

i thought about just running a rubber hose from the pcv valve to the bottom of the car, but the pcv valve needs a little vacuume so it lets go of all the vapors inside.

why? because I figure that since you have a catch you dont have to worry about oil fumes inside your intake so without the pcv valve you have better breathing

yea but with a catch can aren't you supposed to route a hose from the catch can to the turbo air intake pipe?

I dont understand what a pvc valve has to do with a catch can.

The catch can goes in between the nipple on your valve cover and the turbo inlet. That of course would be through a hose connecting all of course.

The purpose would be to suck out the blow-by from the bottom end of your motor without sucking oil into the intake. All engines no matter how new thay are have some amount of blow by.You need to relieve that presure(or suck it out) or you may blow out your rings.
