Question about Oil Catch can
ok so basically ive been reading alot on this lately because i need one for my car, and i came up with this. its goes PCV to Catch Can to Turbo pre-inlet. but on my setup i have mesh around my inlet because it is right next to my slave and i have no room for a filter or anything really.
no ive also read about "slashcut" and i understand that you have to put it in your exhaust facing the way the exahust goes... and how do i know where i get a vaccum in my exhaust... do i just guess or can someone tell me how to come about this.
lastly, does the home made catch can work very well on turbo cars?? im talking about the 20 dollar catch can made from an air filter for an air compressor with wire wool in it.
thanks for answering my noob questions!
-Mike
also, just to make sure, i leave my PCV valve in correct??

Re: Question about Oil Catch can
I put my slashcut in right after the downpipe started straightening out behind the oil pan, and it seems to work pretty well there. As for the pcv valve, i just took mine out completely since it's always seeing vacuum. Do that and slap a breather filter on the valve cover and you'll be set.
