Default Camry T-kit Piecing together, calling toyota fans if any...

Well i am getting a 93 camry with the 5sfe engine in it [2nd gen NA MR2 engine]. For Parts heres what i got:

Stock MR2 Tubo Manifold
Stock MR2 Turbocharger
DSM BoV
Supra Green Top Injectors
Walbro Fuel Pump
MR2 MAF Sensor
MR2 SMIC or CCA FMC [not decided]
2.5" Exhaust [Custom]
Stealthmode Universal Oil Lines.

Misc Stuff prob from Home-de-po

Havent decided on fuel Management, but probably a SAFC sicne ill be running 6 psi max.

Boost/ oil/fuel Pressure guages
MSD Timing Retard, lemme know if theres a cheaper method

My dad has a friend who can weld and get peiping for cheap. and i am on great terms with a former auto teacher. So i got hookups on some of the little stuff =)

I am going to also move the battery to the trunk to unclutter the car a bit. Please dont criticize me for making a camry-T. You guys just got hondas, and i just got a toyota, i think it will be fun =)

your engine doesn't have an oil cooler does it? You may have to remove it for clearance issue. If you haven't already, you might want to check out celica.net. They have peeps over there boosting 5s-fe. Sounds to me you're on the right track. How many miles on the motor?

Camry's have alot of room in the engine bay for a turbo, you should have no clearence problems thats for sure! Everything sounds pretty basic, reguardless of make/model turbo setups are pretty easy in general it all comes down to fuel management and what you are going to do. Lots of us really dont know much about stock toyota ecu's and how they would react to boost.

Good luck with your setup and be sure to post pics of your setup!

that would be pimp, cut a hole and have the turbo peeping out, just like that vid of that twin turbo Grand National.
