could i JB weld a barb on the end of the charge pipe right before the throttle body so the waste gate has it's own vacume source?
i mounted a brass barb to the charge pipe using JB Weld.
i painted the weld joints, and the barb fitting joint with stainless silver manifold paint (brush on) for that ghetto fabulous look. the hole i drilled for the barb was a very tight fit. the barb fit securely with a few taps from a hammer.

Oh my god, you could JB weld a fitting on your pipe and then when you pop the hood you could be like "Ya my boyz at HMTZ told me to do that and it rockz" Or you can do it the right way
Vacuum Manifold, Import your brake booster fitting into this then out the backside and walah, you have enough fittings for everything. Not to mention it looks pretty good too.

that thing's $45. on ebay. i think i'll jb weld a plastic barb to the charge pipe and paint the CP and barb chrome color. aslong as it works. i'll make sure it looks acceptible. thanks though i never knew that golden eagle thing existed.

wastegate can have a source closest to the compressor for quickest response, but in terms of 'vacuum' you would need something from the manifold after the tb, not before on the charge pipe. i.e. at idle, there is high vacuum in the manifold, not in the charge pipe.

i made my own vacum log for my ITB set-up which I had to sell..
very ghetto, but it worked awsome.
i just used a piece of square steel stock I found in the trash can, welded the ends, I drilled holes into it, and then i used fuel line which I paid $1.50 for to make the "T's" comming out. it fit very tight with the vacum lines, the ends that were suspossed tapped to tie into the pump, i used and i stacked them together, which was a perfect size to tie into the brake booster, and JB welded everything. even over the welds. it sealed everything perfect.
isnt it ghetto.

well pretty much everything was wet with JB weld, so I set up on a deep well socket, and let it set, and well it just dripped. i was gonna sand it all down,(as you can see) but thought, what the hell, it adds charactor. LOL.
