You have a stock carb or a weber or something?

im not knocking you. Toyotas are the ----, moreso.. 22r's are bulletproof. I know you already tried the fuel injection thing, but if your project isnt too low buck, you should look into megasquirt II with ford EDIS ignition. Its actually very simple.

one of my injectors was bad and i didn't know (they came from a running truck, and i knew this when i pulled the efi ----) but for some reason it blew something in my ecu itself, so im putting efi on hold as i dont have time anymore to tune, and i need this truck able to be worked on with simple tools, and preferably not 100 wires everywhere
i dont wanna seem like i'm trying to steer you in a different direction, i just dont see many carb'd turbo setups that end up performing how they should. Especially on a 4 cylinder. MS will end up running off of very few sensors (which means few wires) and since you put it together yourself, it should be easy to maintain. Good luck with your project though.. im going to look at an 87 toyota pickup 4x4 today actually
