Default Bypass valve?

Ok so here's the deal. Anybody use bypass vavles on there intake to the turbo? My filter sits about 4-5 inches from the ground which makes me nervous to drive it in the rain. The piping from the filter goes straight up and then makes a left 90 degree angle to the turbo. Since the filter is so close to the ground I was thinking that maybe a bypass vlave would work. To restrictive? Somebody has to know

Default Re:Bypass valve?

I wonder if that thing would hold up to 10psi or so? It would work as long as that by-pass could handle the psi, but if you are boosting when the water hits the filter it probably won't by-pass it because of the pressure in the intake.
