NEED HELP ASAP!!! Wastegate arm broke out!(UPDATE)
I have a 93 del sol si d16z6 with a 15g turbo and internal wastegate. The arm that connects to the "ball part"(i can't remember the technical term) broke out of it... The inside was threaded i guess and i broke that. What do i do? Do I have to buy another wg? any other alternatives? I have seen people using springs, what would i do with that? Connect one end where the cotter ping would go and the other end to where? Please someone help.
Ya, ill take one in the morning though. I am now using a spring that gets me to 7psi, but that falls off quickly. Is it the spring that's doing it? Does it need to have more tension or less tension?
I just plugged the vac line from the old WG. Is it a vac line thats making me lose all that boost? Hmm.. ill take pics of everything tomorrow... Please let me know of any help in the meantime

Ok, so im using that spring, i have adjusted it to hit 7-8psi which is exactly where i want it, but as soon as it reaches full boost(kinda laggy)it falls off to about 4. Is this the springs fault? What do i do witht the vac line that was attached to the wastegate? Just plugg it up? Cause i don't think this problem is a result of the spring. I just bought a couple more, and so now im gona try those. Please let me know asap! THANKS!
Ok, well now im using a diferent spring, and it hits at about 7psi. First gear is good, but then 2nd and 3rd i hit about 9psi. So now i have to keep adjusting it, such a pain in the ***. Anyway, i pretty much solved my own problem, just have to adjust and drive, adjust and drive, and so on and so forth, god damnit... Anyways This post is over. Thanks for reading!
Ok, so the post wasn't quite dead lol. Im using the spring, it boosts to exactly what i want, but then it falls off. Why is it doing this? What can i do to prevent this?
Sorry for the series of long posts, any help would be apreciated, thanks!
