one night i was racing a crx and i was going about 190kph or about 120mph i guess, and a coupler poped off i swear i thought i hit speed limiter, the car just died felt like i hit a brick wall. f@ck na sux

I can understand using those HD couplings if your in a real bind, but most places have a NAPA store open 7 days a week these days, and napa sell generic rad hose in 1/8" increments all the way up to something like 2.5" it comes in a length with a 90 degree bend, you can make about 3 straight couplings and one elbow for about $13. Rad hose is generally rated at 30 psi. I've been running 12 psi with the NAPA stuff, no probs whatsoever, even with a slightly loose hose clamp!
