And above all, don't forget to support the hard lines with some metal strapping or brackets! With the vibration from the engine you could cause the brass fittings to break, especially on the " t " fitting at the back of the block!

/\ iunno mine isn't really supported by anything other than vibrating against the drivers side passenger mount and it seems to be still working.

are we forgetting here that stock turbo cars use hard lines for their turbo feed lines also? so i say, why not for custom! :y

Yes brake line looks good when done right. Plus once its bent up and fitted, remove it and give it a good scrubbing with a scotch brite pad, gives it a nice satin look. Thats what we do on our fuel lines. Ill be doing hard lines on mine. :y

What size are you using? Napa has 1/4" and harborfreight has a bender for $7

You dont need a bending tool, just bend the line over any thing that is round, it will hold the shape and look great. |

Dang, I wish I would have known about this. Hardline is way cheaper than braided and easy enough to work with.
I will definately use hard line on my next setup for sure. |
