brake hard lines for turbo oil?

i was at the store today and they had differnt lengths and sizes of brake hard lines you can bend to shape for like $4, and my ford t3 already has one of the flare compression type fitting on it with the hard line cut , so maybe i could get or make one that the other end would thread into a block fitting ? it would be cheap and kinda cool i guess but most importantly cheap, whos done this? thought i seen it on here before. are most block fittings like the stealthmode tuner toys one an odd size ? i mean like buy a block fitting or make a firewal t or somthing that the hard line fitting threads into

Ive seen it done

Fairly cheap if you can bend them yourself, Ive also seen them leak to no regard....

Stainless braided isnt that expensive for a feed only, and it wont leak on ur ass, Im sure you can find a -3 feed line for under 30 bucks

been done by many people. I personally would just go with the stealthmode kit for the whole thing, or go super budget style and make everything yourself.

If you are gonna want the TunerToys block fitting and drain flange then you are already a good ways to the sale price right now.

I have my feed done with a brakeline. It works great and doesn't leak a drop. A brakeline bender is only a few dollars and you can the line looks really clean. I don't see why people pay the money for the braided oil lines myself.

the return I can understand.
I have barbed hose one side and compresion fitting on the other I used the compression fitting side tobolt into my oil pan I took the compression fitting bolt off drilled the hole the right size for just the threads to fit through and then tightened down the compression fitting bolt on the inside of the pan until it was tight and added jbweld for security. then ran some weatherhead hose from napa to the turbo and hose clamped it. It's never leaked at all but deep down inside I worry about it.

Oh yeah I do have the tunertoys block fitting. it makes it easier for sure. At napa they have the a fitting that does the same thing but its not as cool.

brake line leaking?!?!?! the brakes are under more pressure than the oiling system :1 i have seen them leak to, but that was improper assembly.

as for the SS not leaking.... i have had mine leak before. preassembled ATP feed line... :-\

I use brake line on mine with no problems. Just got a proper fitting to go into the block and then to a npt thread on the other side, used a brass npt T, and got an npt to flare fitting from the auto parts store for the brake line. The other side of the T goes to my oil pressure guage. Never leaked in all my various turbo setups.

I'm currently using hard lines, that's how i also regulate the oil pressure going into my turbo using a needle valve.
