If you put a filter on a pvc can you lose vacuum and negate the purpose of whole system. Just hook the pcv hose into a vacuum port before the turbo if you have a filter for your turbo. The only vacuum tube that should be opened to the air is the hose that is connected to the intake tube to allow fresh air into the the crankcase. Don't mean to write so much i just see a lot of posts on pcv systems and it seems that many people don't understand the reason they are even on engines.

They leak if you reroute it before the turbo where there's always vacuum? The only problem I see with that is getting gunky ---- in the compressor housing, even if it's just a little bit.
