You could use the money you would spend on a "Greddy Kit" and you would have enough to do a tranny swap and turbo kit the HMT way. Some of you guys are afraid to build your own kit, cause you say you can't weld, or don't have the tools, whatever. You can do an intercooler and charge piping with very minimal welding, that is where some decent couplers would come in to place and I think everyone can work a hacksaw (not that it would be the easiest way to cut pipe) You can JB-Weld a BOV flange on if need be and you would just have to get somebody to weld up a DP for you. You can practically build a honda with a couple of metric wrenches. Read and see what others have done, chances are if you can think of it, it's been done by somebody on here already.

i was kinda thinking the same thing after going thru a bunch of posts and the faq's so i'm gonna piece everything together now...thanks all.

I think a IHI rhb5 setup would be less powerful than a Greddy kit. Even though I believe there setup at 7psi it's a such a small snail that it would compensate for the psi being high. Also isn't thats what the dualcore is made for? A tranny cooler with the inlets for it already on the bottom of the radiator being that it came in the auto setups and b16 delsol's?I always thought of running my coolant lines from a turbo to those but it wouldn't circulate so it wouldn't be any good?

I ran a tdo4-13g out of a auto 1g dsm.My car was a crx with a zc AUTO.The tranny is now starting to slip over 2 years after i sold the turbo kit and the car to my parents. When i bought the turbo and it had been ported and clipped.I ran dsm 450's,afc,and a wally 255 for fuel.Car made 215 hp,187 torque at 15lbs of boost without pulling fuel and a water sprayed dsm sidemount intercooler.I say go for it and $600 sounds kinda cheap to do all the work and buy the parts.
