Thank you!

thats a turbo mani, not a header.

anyways, that mani is good enough for 300whp.

looks like all the boosted f22's are coming out, I'm building my engine as we speak. The block is at the machine shop and forged rods and pistons are going in there. My friend just boosted his f22b1 with a .42 T3 and boost hits insanely fast but it falls off alot on the top end. The low end power is pretty fun but I would go with a t3/t4 like everybody said.

its got a 35mm Tial flange, isnt that a bit small? arent they regularly 38mm and 40mm? just wondering if this is a problem.

it also mentions it has a "35mm out wastegate flange on downpipe" most the setups i have seen dont have this? just wondering what its for....

thank you guys!

a little confused if you guys recommend the $445 stage 1 turbo or the $660 stage 3 turbo for me?

thanks!

for the 140 hp f22 that you're gonna boost to around 250 hp, the stage one t3/t04 with 0.48 turbine is fine.

If you can live with a slower spool up for now and expect to upgrade the engine later, then 0.63 is also a good choice and allows more power.

Oh, Any stage one turbo used in a performance project should be watercooled IMO.

that dont look like a f22 in the picture. looks like a dohc, possibly non vtec, h23

ya thats probably h23 but its the same ports and everything, you are right it doesnt look like equal length, ill find out from BLAAST if it is. Thanks for all the replies guys, BLAAST recommends i use:

T3/T04B V trim (60 trim) .48/.60 Watercooled

since my manifold is made for that turbo, buying the other one might have fitment issues.

or the jdm f22b dohc. basically the same engine.

oh, and aleks, is that CBL's turbo mani? it looks like one of his cb7's and a very familiar picture.
