that compressor outlet/inlet looks really small. stick with the t3/04e 57 trim

THat's a t3 60 trim. it's most probably remanufactured which is ok.

It's perfect for boosting the f22 and other 100-150 HP cars into the 250 HP range.

WHat sucks on this turbo is the compressor flanges and gaskets that you have to custom fabricate.

I do have the exact same specs t3 48/60 turbo but with conventional spouts on the compressor on which you can slide some silicone couplers but it's 400$

i have the same turbo. ebay or for sale section here is a good place to find the compressor inlet and oulet pipes.

looking on my dyno results, it had power all the way to redline. no drop off at all. id say this is the perfect budget turbo.

Yep. A very good and economic work horse.
power with this turbo will start to drop off up top only if you're making over 260HP or somewhere around there.

Just for the record, a standard T3 with a .42 A/R compressor housing is going to have a 45 trim compressor wheel, not a 60. The only standard T3 to have a 50 trim comes with a 1.06 A/R exhaust housing. Standard T3 compressor wheels have an OD of 2.37", The inside diameter of the 60 trim is 1.83", 50 trim is 1.67" and 45 trim is 1.59".

the 45 trim is not any more standard than the 50 or the 60 trim. They are all t3 turbos.

So you know, all of the saab T3 42/48 and dodge 42/48s are 50 trims :P

thanks for all the replies guys! Im gettin myself a blaast manifold equal lenghth headers (pic below) it comes with a 2.5" downpipe, and im wondering if thats big enough for my first goal, which is 200-230whp, im pretty sure i will need a 3" when i hit over 300whp with the new engine.

Thank you!

And the original post was also editied as well. As said, the original thread title talked about a .42 A/R compressor housing which will have either a 45 trim or 50 trim wheel, not a 60 trim wheel. There is a difference in size as well as a big difference in flow.

But there is a big difference between a 45, 50, and 60 trim compressor wheel. Again, the .42 A/R compressor housing does not have a 60 trim wheel. In terms of performance and flow, the 60 trim wheel is the best that you'll find for medium frame T3's.

Only if you're uninformed and think that 60 trim wheels come in .42 A/R housings :-X
