Default Boosting with a b16 trans

I'm getting ready to start piecing together a turbo kit for my B16 crx. Just finishing up converting to OBD-1. One concern I have is this is my daily driver that I drive approx. 25 miles to and from work on the highway. With my trans I'm at 4800-5000rpms at around 75-80mph. Exactly how bad would this be if I was boosted. Would I be better off running an ls tranny or what size turbo would be ideal to keep temperatures down. I do plan on getting this tuned right but I would like some insight on keeping this thing as reliable as possible.

you dont build boost on the highway or just cruizing around, you have to get on the throttle a bit.
