Ya putting me and the car on a diet im sure would help a great deal, ah well, love power steering and windows, no big amps or silly crap like that tho.....im dying to giv eit boost now tho, i think im gonna set up the turbo and charge pipes on my current motor, at least get a trial fit and tune, plus im kinda curious to see how much boost my 280k motor will handle till it goes boom....

 

Man, sometimes Canada sucks, used, yes used turbo....FROM A DSM, 450.00....thats mental.....

 

List on my 14b was 425.00 at the junkyard, I told him I didn't want it,

Me: I don't think I like the Talon Turbo
Junkyard Guy: Why? Thought you said it's a nice size for what you want.
Me: Well the Saab turbo is only 150.00
Him: I can do 200.00 on the 14b

My 14b was like brand new. Looked like it got ran for 2 blocks. Try to talk them down

 

Yah i tried that, im a suzuki dealer/body shop, so even at our cost he said there are just none out there, hence the big bucks to get me one, im going to try a ford t-bird and see what they have out there, any other idea's for cheaper doners?

 

Chrylser Daytonas and Sundances.

Ford, Saab, Volvo, Early Nissan 300zx. These would be my choice now that I am more knowledgable. They are more common, easeir to upgrade, and easier to get rebuilds. I no longer like my 14b Talon Turbo.

As for a t-bird. Don't get a post '86 IHI Warner, a little small. Ideally a 84-86 T-bird auto would be best, or a 5spd. The 5spd will be a TINY bit more laggy, but make a slight more power.

 

Yah i put out a search at my local yards for a t-bird, or early volvo....hope they are cheaper....thanks for the help by the way, this ---- is fairly new to me and i need all teh help i can get....
