Big Injectors for cheap

Re: Big Injectors for cheap
You can ream out the OEM Honduh fuel rail with a drill bit and a block of wood as a jig. PM user Speed_Phreak, he logs in here once a month or so, he'll post the pictures of how he did it.
Thing is, OEM fuel rail sucks at or past 500 whp. But, if you just need to run them right now, it gets the job done.

/\/\/\ $25 a piece /\/\/\
Now looking at those ones I linked to, they are 4.7ohm's. Now if memory serves me right, DSM injectors are usually around 3-3.5 ohms. What kind of impact would a 1 ohm difference have on the system if one were to use these instead? I'm thinking probably not much, but I honestly don't know how sensitive injectors may be to these tiny differences.

They make a drill bit specifically for that purpose as well but like you said,if you actually need 1600cc's on a honda the 85 bucks for an aftermarket rail's not going to kill you..
If memory serves me correct you can run high ohm injectors on your system, but you can't run low imp. injectors on a high imp system.I have a resistor box in my obd1 civic allready because I was bored and it opens up my injector options more.stock injectors and no problems for 2-3k so far.I would think you would be okay.
When i was looking into this i found this site
http://www.injectors4u.com/multiport_injectors.htm
Cool guy outa michigan that sells pretty rare or hard to find injectors and he uses oem part numbers, not any instore or whatever numbers.
Also where did you find those for 25 bucks a piece?

JD, the resistor pack you sold Jared with those DSM 450's... would that resistor pack work with these bigger injectors? Just wondering, since more ohms are involved... IDK what the hell I just said.

Re: Big Injectors for cheap
I would think that resistor pack would work just fine. DSM injectors in the the 3ohm range, and I don't see the 1ohm difference being a huge issue. And if it did affect it, I don't see why you couldn't work around it with tuning.
BTW, they are sold out of those injectors above. He has nothing over 1000cc
