There's no such thing as the best turbo. You will get a million different answers. Figure out some goals for your car and then do some research. Check out other setups and see if that's what you want or don't want.

 

bbka knows his stuff. there are a ton of different turbos in many different configurations which you have to choose from also that make power in different rpm ranges. i'm going to use a ct26 from my 89 supra since i have it lying around, i don't know how well it will work, but it can't be worse than stock... lol
i can only suggest a t3 or t3/t4 .48/.40 as it should offer a good boost in low to mid range
