Go with the Z6, it's already obd1, and has been proven to make power and be reliable... The JDM D15b will be a pain in the *** and the Y8 timing is a little off also spins rod bearings from what I hear (specifically I'm talking about ****, he went through a JDM D15b and Y8 in my garage in one weekend, I hate both of those motors). My Z6 on the other hand has went through hell and back and it's still running stong...

z6/d15b > y8/y7 but both will do just fine.
