as far as the vitara reliability. ive only heard of one instance of a vitara piston failing because of a bad injector. if you look at the vitara replacement pistons ringlands, youll notice that it has a hell of alot more oil passage through them than a stock honda. ive beatin the ---- out these pistons and havent had one problem. btw, theres another who has exceeded the 400 hp mark with these pistons.hes making 417 hp 322tq and went 11.378 @ 130.37mph on Nitto drag radials. people can hate on the vitaras all they want. but the vitaras keep proving themselves. if i do end up blowing up my y8 block, then ill buy another used one for 50 bucks, and another set of vitaras. gee, thats less than a set of forged pistons. cant get more homemade than that.
